Governance Model

Page dedicated to governance on InterSwap DAO

InterSwap DAO

The InterSwap protocol is governed and upgraded by IST token stakers, using three distinct components; IST token, governance module, and Timelock. Together, these contracts allow the community to propose, vote, and implement changes to the InterSwap protocol.

To vote on the InterSwap DAO, users need to lock their IST to get veIST.

Dynamic swap fee tiers. Pool fee tier is chosen by the pool creator at the moment of initialization. Tiers for specific pools can be changed by a special governance process. General tiers config can also be changed by governance.

IST tokens incentives for LP providers. IST rewards can be adjusted for specific pools by a governance process.

On-chain Governance. We are using OpenZeppelin Governor model with on-chain voting, delegating and snapshot for off-chain proposal "pre-voting".
